Christmas, coffee and loving still time with Blair.

thats the Christmas ENewsletter from the Jeff Capps Band and then a photo from our christmas show we did here in Texas...it was a blast...we def opened with a punk version of "Jingle Bells" then when straight out of that into "Go Tell It On The Mountain" with a three part harmony...it was kinda fun...just drums and voices during the three part harmony...anyways and here is a photo of me and my beautiful wife having our first CHRISTMAS!

NEW DAYS..

hello friends and family..

it has been way to long...times are a changing...married life brings new joys...one being a great need for a full time REGULAR job..which only means wake up everyday at the same time and arrive at some job where you are making a consistent income...this is different but a very good thing...God has been very good to us...i have found a friend...(yes i know that is surprising) but he has made this job and passion of mine come to unite in making music for the masses...so yes Jeff Capps has a full time job and is continuing to travel and play music...here is our little sweet logo ...hope all is well and know that i love you all...

TEETH ----who needs them?

hello friends and family...today i under went my first real surgery and i must say they do not mess around....i received the BEST AIR ever over my nose that made me feel like PETER PAN...and then they gave me the good stuff in my IV to where i had no clue and let them do whatever they wanted...he is me 3 hours later....i love you guys and miss you...please pray for a quick recovery i have to sing on sunday in dallas,tx....

from Job (suffering Job not a JOB) to Bailey

well hello friends and family...

i got rid of JOB and got BAILEY.....yes i do name my guitars im not sure many of you know that but i do...so JOB was alot different looking and sounding than this Gibson j45 that will from now on be known as BAILEY...but we are glad that JOB has a good home now wherever He is and BAILEY is home with me getting acquainted pretty quickly to her new surroundings...

Grace, grace Gods grace.....

hello friends and family...
it has been quite some time since i have been able to sit down and take some time to write on here...things have been non stop.....but its good...God has done alot in my heart...i feel i am striving to even now take steps towards humility .....i need that alot because i am a prideful person who needs the grace and mercy of God to be evident in my life...so also with that the Lord has been giving me a GREAT JOY in blair...i have continued to fall head over heels for her...i love her more now then i did when she said she would marry me...and that is all the grace of God because engagement and planning a wedding ( or watching and saying yes when she asks...lol) can really bring stress and strain in your lives like we experience some...but now the outcome of the hard work that blair and her sweet mom and my sweet mom have put in is going to be a beautiful day where we hopefully see and display the glory of God....to say all this is to say that God is giving us both a greater love for Him in this time and we are thankful...we pray if you read this now that you are encouraged and thankful for the work of the Lord in the hearts of His people...please stay in touch...we love you....

UPDATE...and random photos

well hello family and friends...
just wanted to say a hello from texas and let you know what is going on in my world..recently i had a good friend of mine name josh hicks fly to dallas in order that we may begin to rehearse for the summer since we will be leading worship for camps in waco,texas///san antonio,texas///new orleans,louisiana and right out side of raleigh,nc at campbell univ for the next month or so....it has been a joy spending time with him and catching up on what is going on in his world back in nc where he is finishing up his last year at UNC Gboro...also in midst of all of this fun i have also had another great friend of mine come visit here his name is chad mcclurg and he is a good friend who pastored last summer as i was leading worship at FUGE camp in TN....so we have had a great last few days going to the rangers/redsox game and many of fun events...on top of all of these God given joys i am continuing to be overwhelmed with gladness that i will be leaving the single life here very soon and getting married to my best friend on sept 15...so alot is going on and i hope to hear from many of you soon...please stay in touch and let us know what is going on in your world...

Whats Next?

hello friends and family..
just wanted to check in and say hello and see how all of you are doing...God is doing amazing things here in texas....i have finished booking June with summer camps which we are really excited about...so the next step for blair and myself is looking for a job for me here and finding a place where we can live after we become ONE in september...so i tell you these things so that you can be praying that the Lord gives us clear direction on where and what we should be doing....we miss you and love you alot..

Rest and Resolve in Raleigh,NC...

hello friends and family..
i write this note on a beautiful God created day here in raleigh....things have been non stop here but i wanted to rest and share a few things to keep you updated....first of all i became an uncle to a beautiful boy name Cole Slater Capps at the beginning of the month and have enjoyed spending time with him, second myself and many friends have found ourselves at many churches/events around the NC area and even spent a week in Kentucky traveling playing music which was a great joy given by God....lastly i was able to spend this last week here growing in Godliness with my fiance' ...God has given us amazing friends and family in order that we may see God's grace in their lives and learn how we can like them cultivate humility and pursue Jesus the Christ as our greatest joy together....its been grace that has opened our hearts to see ways in which we can learn how to love God more by seeking one another's happiness in CHRIST alone...well i hope that this blog finds you all celebrating grace in your own lives as we have been learning that there is much grace that goes overlooked in our journeys...well i love you all and hope to hear from many of you soon...
